Herzen University will Traditionally Act as a Platform for St. Petersburg International Educational Forum

More than 300 events will be held in 278 educational institutions in St. Petersburg during the XII St. Petersburg International Educational Forum. Herzen State Pedagogical University, which has been an official partner of the forum for many years, will traditionally become a venue for significant educational events this year.The XI Pedagogical Olympiad for young teachers "Professional Prospects" will be held on 21-23 March 2022. Young teachers will have the opportunity to demonstrate their professional skills during the competition day of the Olympiad, while during the educational day the participants will learn about the valuable experience of St. Petersburg educational institutions and participate in workshops organised by the teachers of the Herzen University.
"Days of Science and Practice at Herzen University" will be held on 23 and 24 March. Organisers invite you to take part in the scientific seminar "Education Today: Challenges and Prospects", in the panel discussion "Mass Culture of Modern Youth", in the discussion platform "Innovation in Schools" (based on the results of the activities of regional innovation platforms, partners of the Herzen University); to discuss the most pressing issues concerning the psychological and pedagogical education during the round table.
Centre for Children's and Youth Creativity "Vasilievsky Island" will hold Social Partnership Networking "Career Decision-Making. Choosing an Educational Trajectory" on 24 March 2022. Venue: “Boiling point” at the Herzen University. The participants will discuss opportunities for vertical and horizontal integration of different institutions in order to create a partnership network which would assist students in choosing their educational trajectory and career path.
On 24 March, the "Magnificent St. Petersburg" Dance Performance will be presented by the Student Modern Dance Theatre, the Department of Choreographic Art of the Institute of Music, Theatre and Choreography, Herzen University. An attempt to recreate the image of St. Petersburg as in modern youth's eyes is made in a play.
On 27 March, "Theatre Workshop of Elena Slutskaya", student artistic group from Human Philosophy Institute, will present a musical performance "Become New Jeanne d'Arc..." based on the play by A. Gladkov "A long time ago" and diary entries "Meetings with Pasternak". Young artists will try to convey the creative atmosphere of staging a heroic comedy in the harsh years of the World War II.
