Key Events of the Forum with International Participation

18 March 2022
St. Petersburg International Educational Forum is traditionally a platform where not only Russian teachers, but also their foreign colleagues share their experience and present their teaching methods.

As noted by Prof. Qingliang Zeng, President of Shandong Normal University, representing China at the Forum: "Education is a key force in communication and dialogue between countries and peoples. It is also an important way to carry, spread and perpetuate the core values of a civilization. Education should be based on the different stages of development and national conditions of each country. Moreover, it should be based on the times, serving the world and the future."

According to the expert, China has always regarded education as an important cornerstone in national development and a cohesive platform for social civilization. Interdependence, Zeng notes, has become a remarkable feature of international relations today, and education will be a key factor to achieve sustainable development for humanity.

Indeed, events with international participation are aimed at a joint search for solutions to global problems in the field of education faced by teachers in different countries: digitalisation, online learning, creation of an inclusive environment and equal opportunities, development of project thinking in schoolchildren. The Forum is open to everyone who is ready for cooperation, dialogue and wants to make the learning process more interesting, useful and accessible.
