National Scientific and Practical Conference: Effective Practices in Supporting Gifted Children

Online National Scientific and Practical Conference "EPSILON: Effective Practices in Supporting Gifted Children" within the framework of the XII St. Petersburg International Educational Forum will take place on 22 March 2022.

Organisers: Herzen University (implementing master’s degree programme "Supporting Gifted Students"), Information and Methodological Centre of the Petrogradsky District (implementing "Creative Space for Gifted Students" project for over 5 years).

The conference will include scientific and practical discussions during thematic sections, as well as Case-Based Olympiad "Using Soft and Hard Skills when Supporting Gifted Children".

Special guest of the conference: Aleksei Blinov, player of the intellectual TV club "What? Where? When?".

Over 260 participants have already registered for the conference. Among them – 45 representatives of the scientific and teaching community (21 participants with Ph. D. degree), who will present the effective practices in supporting gifted students. Professionals from over 35 regions of Russia will take part in the event.

The most popular sections among registered participants are project and research work in school and those that concern working with preschool children and teenagers.

Registration is open until 9 March 2022 for speakers and up to 20 March 2022 for participants.
