Programme of the XII St. Petersburg International Educational Forum has been published

From 17 to 30 March 2022 representatives of schools, colleges, universities and science laboratories of St. Petersburg will hold over 350 events and discuss current education issues. St. Petersburg International Educational Forum will include seminars, conferences, creative laboratories, tours, workshops and round table discussions online, offline and in a blended format.The programme consists of 10 thematic tracks which will allow the participants to look at the modern education system from all sides. For example, St. Petersburg Centre for Quality Assessment of Education and Information Technology will organise events on digitalisation and computerisation: information technology for the new school, online kindergarten, cybersecurity of the learning environment, special interactive courses. As a part of Science and Practice Days at Herzen University the events on research, innovation and education development and Pedagogical Ideas Fair will be held. St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education will organise the events that will focus on STEM education in kindergartens, healthy, safe and eco-conscious schools, developing emotional intelligence, ecological and economical culture in children. The Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 and the Information and Methodological Centre of the Petrogradsky District will invite forum participants to attend events on lifelong learning, self-fulfilment of teachers in a modern school and supporting gifted students. Other thematic tracks will address such topics as career guidance and professions of the 21st century, education and mentorship, supplementary education, management and inclusive education. Over 270 educational institutions of St. Peterburg will take part in the Forum.
The programme includes a wide range of special events: festivals, competitions, concerts and awards ceremonies marking the 430th anniversary of John Amos Comenius' birth (Czech teacher and philosopher).
