The expanded meeting of the Consortium for the Development of School Engineering and Technology Education in Russia was held

As a part of the All-Russian Innovation Forum "Intelligence of the Future" an expanded meeting of the Consortium for the Development of School Engineering and Technology Education in the Russian Federation was held on the basis of the St. Petersburg Engineering and Technology School. The declared theme was: "Internal System of Professional Development to ensure the professional growth of teachers: the possibilities of the digital learning environment". The event was included in the programme of the XI St. Petersburg International Educational Forum.

The meeting was opened by Vera Knyazeva, President of the Consortium for the Development of School Engineering and Technology Education in the Russian Federation, Director of the Engineering and Technology School No. 777. In her speech, she drew attention to the importance of the "Intelligence of the Future" forum as an innovative platform for determining the strategic priorities of engineering and technological education in the Russian Federation.

"The forum presents new opportunities to motivate students and teachers for project, experimental and research activities, and supports the research creativity of students and teachers," said Vera Vladimirovna.

Heads of educational institutions from St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Lipetsk, Kemerovo, Kudrovo, and the Chelyabinsk Oblast spoke at the expanded meeting.

Representatives of educational institutions from different regions of the country were able to take part in the expanded meeting of the Consortium due to the online format of the event.
