XVII National Gymnasium Student Readings ended successfully

On March 19, on the first day of the XI St. Petersburg International Educational Forum, a scientific and practical conference "XVII National Gymnasium Student Readings" was held in the gymnasium No. 107 of the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg in a blended format.

Organizers of the conference are: St. Petersburg Education Committee, the Department of Basic and Secondary General Education of the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, the Association of Gymnasiums of St. Petersburg, Gymnasium No. 107 of the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg.

The conference was attended by students from 54 educational institutions from St. Petersburg, Perm, Kirov, Tver, Bezhetsk, Veliky Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod; from Moscow Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl Oblast, as well as from the city of Vitebsk (Republic of Belarus).

During the conference, 17 subject sections were open: "Russian Language", "Literature", "Foreign Languages", "History", "Social Studies, Law, Economics" and others. Students presented project and research works in all subject areas, 96 participants were awarded with diplomas of the I, II and III degrees.

Annual "Readings" of schoolchildren, where the authors present their project and research works in all subject areas, have been held since 2003 with the support of the leading universities of St. Petersburg.

The Conference provides students, who are gaining their first experience in research activities, communication and direct dialogue with the scientists from St. Petersburg universities, distinguished professionals working in many areas. It also encourages and directs scientific, practical, creative and research efforts of students.
