Cooperation between vocational educational institutions of St. Petersburg and employers

47 vocational educational institutions are run by the the Education Committee.

In order to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the secondary vocational education system, to ensure the training of qualified workers, employees and mid-career professionals in accordance with modern standards and advanced technologies, the institutions systematically cooperate with enterprises and organizations in St. Petersburg.

The following projects are being implemented with the participation of the business community in the system of secondary vocational education, they are aimed at:
  • organization of students' professional practices,
  • implementation of a target mentoring model,
  • professional development of teachers and masters of vocational training,
  • improvement of material facilities of vocational educational institutions for the promising trades and professions in demand,
  • conducting the state final certification among graduates in a new format: through a demonstration exam with the participation of experts from the top employees of enterprises.
